ABOUT BABAC
BABAC® was founded in 1986 as one of
only two tire chain manufacturers in the United States, and has
based its success on innovative design and production. Each chain
is carefully designed to each tire's specifications, allowing for
the ability to build tire chains for custom sizes and applications.
All of BABAC's chains go through a special
heat treat process which was developed to meet the demands of heavy
off-road use. Through Hardened tire chains wear more evenly, with
steel of uniform hardness throughout their thickness.
The U-Form® stud is also unique to BABAC. After
seeing how the traditional studded chains would tend to lay over
when contacting the ground, it was determined that there must be
a better way. So, BABAC developed a U-shaped stud that is welded
on the flat side of the link to maintain direct contact with the
terrain.
BABAC continues to be an industry leader in design
and development with the recent introduction of the Forestry Tire
Protection tire chain. This chain offers a high level of tire protection
form its tight Diamond™ pattern, while also supplying a superior
level of traction from the U-Form® studs. You can find the complete
