BABAC® STUD TIRE CHAINS

BABAC's unique U-Form® stud chains produce constant traction on ice and rock, have the best wear characteristics of any chain in the world, and offer a smooth operator ride. The U-Form stud is specially designed to provide increased traction as compared to studs welded on top of chain links which lay over when in contact with the ground. U-Form studs stay upright due to their unique design.

Rough Cut stud chains are manufactured identical to our standard Diamond® pattern tire chain production, the only difference being the studs. Whereas we normally use a wire U-Form stud with finished ends, the Rough Cut studs are not smooth. Rough Cut studs are slightly shorter, and are irregular as they produced from the result of cutting soft chain prior to heat treatment and are not all alike.

BABAC stud chains are manufactured with Through Hardened 10B21 Boron Steel and 1022 hardened steel side chains. Available in 9/16" (14mm), 5/8" (16mm) or 3/4" (19mm) tag chain, four or standard ten stud configuration, to fit any size tire
